Thank you to Seth Metoyer and More Horror for this great story on filmmaker Mark Savage's upcoming horror thriller Purgatory Road. Directed by Savage, scripted by Savage and Tom Parnell, and produced by Chris Smernes, the team behind STRESSED TO KILL (which starred Bill Oberst Jr.. and Armand Assante), the film has been described as hardcore horror with a bloody helping of twisted “faith”. Purgatory Road begins production in Mississippi in November and stars Gary Cairns II, Luke Albright, Trista Robinson and Amanda Nicole.
